Thanks again for visiting my blog once again and if this email subscription got reached to you directly, then many thanks for taking the time out to open this email πŸ™‚

In the last 30 days, have had the privilege to see the awesome movie ZNMD (ZINDAGI NAA MILEGI DOBARA or Won’t get life another time) thrice..

The reason for having seen the movie 2nd and 3rd time was the awesome poetry written by Mr. Javed Akhtar narrated by his son Farhan Akhtar (character name: IMRAN ) in the movie..

So, now, today, I wish to translate those poems for you in my own Wordings with a few clicks taken by me to explain the situation in my way…

My Most favorite poem was in fact the 3rd out of these 4 …

This one is most close to my heart and really really touches me every time, I hear it.. Really-2 emotional and best describes the reality of every one’s life !!

Its Hindi Words :::

Jab Jab dard ka baadal chaya,
Jab Ghum ka saaya lehraya

Jab aansoo palkon tak aaya,
Jab yeh tanha dil ghabraya

Humne dil ko yeh samjhaya,
Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai.

Duniya mein yunhi hota hai

Yeh jo gehre sannate hain,
Waqt ne sabko hi baante hain

Thoda ghum hai sabka qissa,
Thodi dhoop hai sabka hissa.
Aankh teri bekaar hi nam hai,
Har pal ek naya mausam hai

Kyun tu aise pal khota hai,
Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai..

O heart, why do you have to cry like this?

English translation of the above poem ::

When The Cloud of Pain Engulfed,

When the Shadow of Sorrow Waved.

When the Tear Drop reached the Eye-Lid,

When the Lonely heart was worried.

Then I somehow told my Heart,

Why do U need to cry, Dear Heart?

In This World, it always happens,

All these Deep Silences that are there,

have been Enforced by time on every one here.

Little Sorrowfulness is in every Story,

Little Sunshine is a part of every one’s Destiny.

Your Eyes are wet for no Reason,

Every Moment there’s new Weather in all Seasons.

Why do you have to lose great Moments like This?

O Heart, why do you have to Cry like this??

2nd in my sequence was the 4th of 4th or the last poem in the movie, infact, the ending scene::

Hindi Words of this touching poem::

Dilon me tum Apni Betaabiyan leke chal rahe ho,

To zinda ho tum.

Nazar me khwaabon ki bijliyan leke chal rahe ho,

To zinda ho tum.

Hawa ke Jhokon ke jaise aazad rehno seekho Tum,

Ek dariya ke jaise lehron mein behna seekho Tum.
Har ek lamhe se tum milo khole apni Baahein,

Har ek pal ek naya sama dekhe Nigahein.
Jo apni ankhon mein hairanian leke chal rahe ho,

To zinda ho tum.

Dilon mein tum apni betabian leke chal rahe ho,

To zinda ho tum.

Learn to Flow In Waves like a River Does

English Translation of the above::

If You are moving with an Eagerness in Your Heart,

Then You are Alive.

IF you possess the Lightening of Dreams in your eyes,

Then You are Alive.

Learn to Live Freely like the Gusts of Wind does,

Learn to Flow in Waves Like a River does.

Meet every Moment with Open Arms Always in your Life,

Every Moment a new Weather should be seen by these Eyes.

If You are moving with a Bewilderment in your Eyes,

Then You are Alive..

If You are moving with an Eagerness in Your Heart,

Then You are Alive.

3rd: Infact, this was the 1st poem and the one which is Narrated after Hrithik is in tears after coming out from his first ever water dive..

Hindi wordings ::

Pighle Neelam sa Behta ye Sama,
Neeli neeli si Khamoshiyan.

Naa kahin hai Zameen,

Naa Kahin Aasmaan.
Sarsaraati hui tehniyaan pattiyaan,

Keh raheen hai bas ek tum ho yahan.

Sirf main hoon, Meri saansein hain,

Aur meri dhadkanein.

Aisi gehraiyaan,

Aisi Tanhaiyaan,

Aur main… Sirf main.

Apne hone par mujhko Yakeen aa gaya..

Finally, I trust my existence

English Translation of the Above:

The Gorgeous Melting Sapphire like Surrounding,

The Deep Blue Silence.

There’s no Sign of Land Any where Near,

Nor The Sky Looks Any where Near.

The Ultra fast moving Branches & Leaves,

Are Saying, that Yes, You are Here.

Only me & My Breaths,

& My Heart-Beats are here.

Such Great Depth,

All in Deep Loneliness.

& me & only me are here.

Finally, I trust my existence !!!!

The last poem by me was in fact the 2nd one in the movie

Its Hindi wordings are:

Ik baat Honton tak hai jo Aayi Nahin,
Bas ankhon say hai jhaankti.

Tumse kabhi, mujhse kabhi,

Kuch lafz hain woh maangti.

Jinko pehanke honton tak aa jaaye woh,

Aawaaz ki baahon mein baahein daalke ithlaye woh.

Lekin jo yeh ik baat hai,

Ahsas hi ahsas hai .

Khushboo si hai jaise hawa mein tairti,

Khushboo jo be-aawaaz hai

Jiska pata tumko bhi hai,

Jiski khabar mujhko bhi hai

Duniya se bhi chupta nahin,

Yeh jaane kaisa raaz hai

(This one is the hardest to Translate as some of the deepest words are hard to Translate)

Dunno, What sort of Secret it is??

English Translation of the above:

A Thought That hasn’t still reaches Lips,

Just Peeps from the Eyes.

Sometimes from you, Sometimes from me, it Asks for Some Words,

After Wearing, it just might reach the Lips..

Putting Arms in Arms of love, it Flaunts,

But the Special Thought that it is.

It’s full of most special feelings,

As if, as a Fragrance floats in the Air.

The Fragrance Devoid of any Sound,

of which You are Aware.

& Even I am aware.

It can never be hidden from the world,

Don’t know, what sort of secret it is.
